This includes using native plant species that require less water and maintenance, installing solar-powered lighting in landscaped areas, and creating habitats that support local wildlife. Major operators like Disney have committed to designing new projects to achieve near net zero emissions and maximize water efficiency, while green roofs are being adopted to lower energy costs, absorb stormwater runoff, and provide environmental benefits.

Smart seating solutions: Strategically placed benches and seating areas are essential, but they need to be positioned where they enhance rather than obstruct traffic flow.
