Promoting research and development

The relationship between entrepreneurship and research and development creates a powerful cycle of innovation and economic growth. Entrepreneurs don’t just benefit from R&D-they actively drive it by creating demand for new knowledge, technologies, and solutions.

Many entrepreneurial ventures begin with research conducted at universities or other institutions. Graduate students and professors often become entrepreneurs by commercializing their research discoveries.
